Dato' Seri Hj Abd Rahman Bin Hj Ali

Dato' Seri Hj Abd Rahman Bin Hj Ali, born in Johor Bahru, Johor, is a former Director General of RISDA. A graduate with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Agricultural Economics and Business Management and a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from University of California, Davis, U.S.A. Dato' Seri Hj Abd Rahman possesses vast experience in providing leadership in the governance and management of RISDA, a rural development agency, NARSCO, a National Smallholders Cooperative, and 15 RISDA's and 8 NARSCO's subsidiaries. He has also served in International Rubber Study Group, Malaysian Rubber Board, National Livestock Committee, Cooperative College of Malaysia and Agriculture Institute of Malaysia. Now he is on the Board of Directors of several non-public listed companies including RISDA Security and Services Sdn. Bhd. which has appointed him as Chairman of Technical and Investment Committee.

Dato' Seri Hj Abd Rahman's participation in Non-Governmental Organization (NGOs) includes as ex-Yang Di Pertua PIBG SMK Seafield, Yang Di Pertua Badan Muafakat Kolej MARA Banting, committee member of Badan Muafakat Pendidikan MARA Malaysia, committee member of Koperasi Muafakat Berhad (KEMUDI). Under his leadership PIBG SMK Seafield has been awarded the excellent PIBG at national level: PIBG Terbaik Sekolah Menengah 2012 and PIBG Cemerlang Sekolah Menengah Bandar 2014. Dato' Seri has been awarded the Excellent Individual by the Department of Education Selangor in 2016. Dato' Seri also has been appointed as the National Principal Trainer by the Ministry of Education Malaysia from 1 May 2015 till 30 April 2017 and is a member of Kumpulan Penggerak Ibu Bapa dan Komuniti Kebangsaan from January 2018 by the Ministry of Education Malaysia.

Dato' Seri has been serving as a member of Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance's (MICG) Board of Governors since 12 January 2015. He is an enthusiast of golf and is a member of Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam.
